The Churburg (castle) was built in the 13th century and in the 16th century renovated by the Earl off Trapp. It is one of the most beautiful Renaissance Residences of South Tyrol. Today it is one of the most best kept castles.
The Tower in the see is the most photographed motive in the Vinschgau. Out of the 14th century, this tower is the only remembrance of the villages Graun, Reschen and St. Valentin, which had to be removed on building of the dam.
